Chief Minister Kirankumar Reddy, now in Delhi, met the congress party president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh separately today and discussed several issues concerning Andhra Pradesh including the Telangana one.
In his meeting with Sonia, Kirankumar reddy discussed the issues of the impending cabinet reshuffle and Telangana. In his meeting with the Prime Minister, the chief minister has reportedly urged Dr Singh to accord national status to the Pranahita-Chevella and Polavaram projects.
He also requested the PM to ensure the deleting of 14 F clause from the Presidential reference on the Zonal system in AP and direct the Ministers and officials at the Centre to extend full cooperation to the state in the implementation of various developmental projects.
