Secunderabad congress MLA and former Tollywood heroine Jayasudha quit her assembly seat today in tune with the decision of the T congress MLAs to resign their seats demanding the separate state of Telangana.

 

Jayasudha, who is right now in Visakhapatnam on some personal work, sent her resignation letter through fax to the office of the Deputy Speaker Mr Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. Earlier, Telangana congress MLAs, who have submitted their resignations, disclosed that Jayasudha was out of station but had agreed to send her quit letter through fax.

 

With Jayasudha’s resignation, the number of MLAs quitting the assembly has risen to 74. Earlier, 36 congress MLAs and 37 TDP MLAs including 4 rebels have put in their papers demanding separate Telangana state.
