Kiran acting tough on T strike

kiranIn the wake of the strike notice given by the JAC of the different employees’ associations of Telangana area, the government has decided to take stringent measures to run the essential services.

Chief Minister Kiran kumar reddy today directed the officials to make alternative arrangements to run essential services in all Telangana districts. In a review conducted in secretariat with senior civil and police officials over the strike threat, Kirankumar directed the officials to ensure the smooth running of essential services in case the employees go on strike as threatened.

“If necessary, enlist the services of retired employees,” he told the officials. Kirankumar also directed the police to register criminal cases under ESMA against those who obstruct the essential services like medical, water, milk and electricity.

Kirankumar has also decided to strictly implement ‘no work no pay’ rule in view of the strike threat by the employees. “The CM is thinking of declaring all services of rural development, Panchayat Raj and medical and Health departments as emergency ones,” said a senior official.
