CBI takes a look at Jagan’s palaces

jaganThe APIIC former chairman BP Acharya today met the CBI officials in Hyderabad and gave a statement with regard to the land allotments made to various companies during his tenure of the organization.

Following the notice of the CBI, Acharya appeared before the CBI team and presented his version on the land allotments. The CBI, which was asked by the state High Court to conduct a preliminary investigation into the alleged illegal accumulation of wealth by the YSR congress president YS Jaganmohan reddy and submit a sealed cover report, is recording statements of persons concerned and examining various documents and records of different departments.

Sources said the investigating team is also examining the cost incurred on various buildings and palaces purchased and constructed by Jagan in Hyderabad and Bangalore. The CBI officials have procured the records from IT, Revenue, Industries and Mining departments and are in the process of examining them.

Till now, 16 companies which have invested in the companies of Jagan have submitted their versions. Some more companies are yet to submit the details. Meanwhile, some CBI officials have gone to Kolkata for further investigations.
