SC begins hearing on Jagan’s petitions

jagan1The Supreme Court this morning adjourned to post lunch session hearing on the admissibility of three petitions filed by YSR Congress president Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy seeking a stay on the implementation of AP High Court orders to CBI to conduct a preliminary investigation into his alleged illegal accumulation of wealth and submit a sealed cover report with in two weeks.

While Jagan accused the congress of hatching a political conspiracy against him in one of his three petitions, he said he was being robbed of his fundamental rights through the CBI investigations against his properties in his second petition. In the third petition, he said Minister Shankar Rao had no right to question about his properties as his wealth didn’t adversely affect his life.

“Just because a minister writes a letter, the High Court has no right to order CBI investigation against my properties,” Jagan argued in his petitions. He requested the apex court to grant a stay in view of the above.
