With the state High Court ordering a full fledged CBI probe into the illegalities of Emaar Company in the land allotments, the victims of Emaar MGF have begun demanding the company to return their lands to them. Some of them are planning to move the courts to get their lands back.

Some of the victims even alleged that the Emaar management had sold away their lands without their knowledge and in the name of benami people. “We were beaten and driven away by the police when we demanded our lands back in the past,” they said speaking to media persons in Hyderabad.

The victims said they were seeking their lands back and they would have to commit suicide if the lands were not given to them. On the other hand, those who have purchased plots from the Emaar group are also worried that their land would be taken away by their original owners.
