The Presidential Secretariat today issued a notification appointing former Chief Minister K. Rosaiah as the Tamil Nadu Governor.  
Jharkand Governor Mr MOH Farooq has been transferred as the Governor of Kerala while Mr Syed Ahmad was appointed as the governor of Jharkand. Maharashtra Governor K. Shankara Narayanan was also given the additional charge of Goa Governor, according to the notification.

Senior congress leaders Mr. Ram Naresh Yadav and Mr V. Purushottaman were appointed as the governors of Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram respectively.
