T industries to shut down indefinitely: Kodanda

KodandaRamTelangana political JAC convener Prof. Kodanda Ram today announced that the industries in Khammam, Adilabad, Karimnagar and Warangal districts have decided to observe indefinite bandh from October 3 demanding separate state of Telangana.

Speaking to media persons in Karimnagar, Kodanda ram said all industries will remain closed indefinitely in the four districts till Telangana is achieved.

He said the JAC will talk to the government and try to ensure that the striking government employees will get their Dasara advance and salaries immediately. “Further, the strike by the Singareni Collieries employees will be intensified to speed up the Telangana formation,” he said.

No work no pay

Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana reddy announced that government will pay salaries tomorrow to all employees. Speaking to journalists after meeting the chief minister Kirankumar reddy at the secretariat, he said salaries payment would be on the basis of ‘no work no pay’ rule strictly.

“The government has already said that there would be payment of salaries to its employees only for the days they worked. The pay would equal their attendance,” he said.
