The congress high command has asked the chief minister Kirankumar reddy and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana to be available for consultations on Oct 7 and 8 on important issues of the state.
Sources said the high command will consult them on Telangana before taking a final decision on the demand for formation of separate state. Congress party trouble shooter and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, who is now busy with Navarathri Pujas in his native village in West Bengal, is likely to call the CM and PCC Chief to Delhi after retuning from his home state.
The high command has also asked Kiran and Botsa not to have any special programmes or district tours during the two days.
Following the development, deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha and some Ministers had discussed the issue with the CM.
It might be mentioned that the congress affairs in charge of AP and Union Minister Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad has said earlier that the state chief minister and national level leaders would be consulted before announcing a final decision on the issue of Telangana.
