Bollywood heart throb and would-be mother Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, turned 38 today. She has celebrated her birthday with family members and close friends at her home.

However, the buzz is that the Bachchans are throwing a high profile party tonight on the occasion for the top Bollywood personalities in Mumbai. The Bachchans kept the venue secret, said sources.

Most of the female celebrities turned up at her Seemantham (godh bharai) organized by the Bachchan family recently and wished her to deliver a healthy baby.

Aishwarya, popularly known as Ash, is expected to deliver her baby this month, according to media reports.

Aishwarya, after kick starting her career as a model, won the 1994 Miss World pageant and then turned to Bollywood for a career in acting. She made her debut as an actress in 1997 with Mani Ratnam's Tamil film Iruvar and tasted her first success as an actress in 1998 with Jeans directed by popular director Shankar.

She acted in several successful movies as the leading lady thereafter rocking the Bollywood and by becoming the highest paid heroine in the industry.
