The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has expressed unhappiness with the replies given by Mr Vijay Sai Reddy, vice chairman of the Jagathi Publications owned by the YSR congress president Mr YSR Jaganmohan reddy in the money laundering case registered against him.
Mr Vijay Sai Reddy has been in Delhi for the last four days as the official representative of Jagan answering questions by the ED on the investments made into Jagan-owned companies after the agency has issued notices.
The agency has asked Jagan to come personally or send his authorized representative before Nov 28 to explain things into huge investments made into his companies through companies registered in tax haven-countries like Mauritius.
Jagan sent his company vice-chairman Vijay Sai Reddy as his representative and he submitted some documents related to the investments and has been answering the questions. But sources said the ED is not happy with the answers which it feels are incoherent and insufficient. “The documents submitted are also incomplete,” said the sources in the ED.
The ED has asked Mr Vijay Sai reddy to be available in Delhi for some more days for further questioning. The questioning may continue for some more days. If the ED doesn’t get satisfied with the answers, it may ask Jagan to appear personally next time.
