Assembly winter session to begin from Dec 1

The winter session of the state assembly and the state legislative council will begin from Dec 1. Governor ESL Narasimhan issued a notification to this effect today.

The winter session would be of immense interest as the TDP announced it would move a no confidence motion against the Kirankumar reddy government in the coming session. PCC chief Mr Botsa Satyanarayana and several ministers had already announced that the Government was ready to face the no trust move and asserted the government would prove its majority.

“We can prove our majority and there is no threat to the Government,” said Botsa. Civil Supplies Minister Mr Sridhar Babu too has expressed similar confidence.

Meanwhile, majority of the 26 congress MLAs who quit the congress and joined Jagan bandwagon, have begum returning to the Congress fold one by one. “We are not going to back the no trust move that will be initiated by the TDP,” said Mr Adinarayana reddy on Friday.

The TDP has charged the YSR congress of conspiring with the Congress party and the MLAs are going back to the congress fold as part of the conspiracy.
