CPI state secretary Mr Narayana today described the assembly as a fighting ground between the Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy and opposition leader Mr Chandrababu Naidu.
Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, Narayana referred to the allegations and counter allegations exchanged by Kirankumar and Naidu during the debate on the no-confidence motion and said the assembly has turned into a fish market.
“The assembly has thrown to the winds the important problems such as price rise, political uncertainty, farmers’ problems and drought,” he said and warned the political parties that it was not in the interests of democracy.
He said all political parties, including the PRP, are only aiming at protecting their self interests and political posts. “It is very unfortunate that the political parties have turned the assembly into a fish market,” Narayana lamented.
Narayana said the CPI state level meeting would be held at Karimnagar from Feb 21to Feb 24, 2012. (JUBS)
