Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar today issued notice to congress MP owing allegiance to the YSR Congress party Mr Mekapati Rajamohan reddy on his resignation.

In response to the notice, Mr Rajamohan reddy will meet the Speaker tomorrow and offer his explanation on his resignation from the Lok Sabha.

Mr reddy quit from the Lok Sabha saying that the CBI had mentioned the late YSR’s name in the FIR registered against YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan reddy for allegedly possessing illegal properties. He also urged the Speaker many a time to accept his resignation.

The Speaker will listen to his opinion tomorrow before taking a final decision on his resignation. (JUBS)
