President Pratibha Patil is arriving in Hyderabad on Sunday for her 10-day winter retreat in Andhra Pradesh.
Smt Patil will reach the Begumpet airport around 12 noon by a special Indian Air Force (IAF) plane and will be received by the Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister Kirankumar Reddy, PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana and local army commanders.
From the Begumpet airport, the President will straightaway reach the Rashtrapathi Nilayam at Bolarum in Secunderabad.
Pratibha Patil will pay a visit to Srihari Kota on January 2 and meet the ISRO scientists and officials and acquaint herself with the progress of the Indian space research programmes. She will return to Hyderabad same day evening.
The president will return to Delhi on January 4. During her retreat in Hyderabad, she will participate in some official programmes. (JUBS)
