The multi skilled Lok Satta President Dr. Jaya Prakash Narayan is more a social activist than a politician. This was evident from his electoral gains. But the man who had remarkable vision was a hard core personality, who wanted to bring a change in the present scenario. In spite of party differences the leader is well acclaimed by even his contemporaries. Speaking to reporters at Hyderabad, today, he came down heavily on the governments, for neglecting primary education. He said primary education shapes the moro citizen and in turn would evolve a better nation.
The report submitted by the Action for School Admission Reforms (ASAR) was a proof of negligence and the governments must be ashamed of that. A student who could not sum up the mathematical tables in the Seventh class and another could not write even alphabets in tenth class, shows the disability of our state educational system, he reiterated. The report which was a mirror to the present education system highlighted the inefficiency and negligence on the part of the state governments, he opined.
He also expressed that the employment advertisements released and the hype created around the same must be genuine and must not take the common man for a ride. He felt employment opportunities must not be just numbers and must really fulfill the need of the common man.
