Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thakare reminds that the party came in to existence to support and fight the injustice meted by them but not to play a power game in the state Maharashtra. In the editorial of latest edition of Samna the party magazine released today, Thakare says that it is ridiculous on the part of the Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan to say that the Sena will become inconsequential after Mumbai Civic polls that will be held on 16th of February. He says that it is not possible to throw Shiv Sen out from civic polls.
In this context, Bal Thakare stongly opposed Chavan’s statements and also ridiculing him in the editorial in Samna stating that the Chief Minister lacks self respect although his parents named him as a brave heart but he turnout to be inept. He also compared Congress party with Moghuls who invaded Maharashtra. (SJ)
