Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty's husband, has been cleared from the embarassing IPL spot fixing scandal. At a BCCI working committee meeting, Raj Kundra was cleared of any foul play during the games.
However, his presence at the Champions League Twenty20 matches is yet to be decided. The co-owner of Rajasthan Royals needs to be formally cleared of the spot fixing and betting scandal before he can enter the venue of the Champions League Twenty20 games.
A senior official form Rajasthan Royals told PTI that the franchise will declare an official statement once the IPL governing council ratifies the decision of the working committee.
Kundra was earlier suspended by the BCCI for an alleged involvement in the controversial betting that highlighted players S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila for losing face. They were arrested after the IPL spot fixing scandal.
