Indosoft employee arrested for enggg. College exam paper leak

When the debate whether technology is a boon or bane, incidents like MMS, phishing and question paper leaks strongly show the bad side of the coin.

In a similar incident where technology was misused, a Hyderabad based 25-year-old Praneeth was arrested on Saturday by the city police after he attempted to sell the question papers of an entrance examination that was scheduled to take place on Sunday. He was even selling of key to the question paper.

The B. Tech entrance examination of Chennai based deemed university was called off on Sunday.  According to the police, Praneeth hailed from Khammam district and settled in Hyderabad on job purpose. He was working for a company-Indosoft International-located in Jubilee Hills area of the city.

The police came to know about the alleged leak of the question paper when a news channel caught the techie selling the question paper that’s between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 60, 000 along with key.  The Madhapur police have also said that this techie even sold the question paper online to other states. They have also said that Praneeth managed to get the question paper from his friend G.V Reddy via email. Now how G.V Reddy got the question paper would be cracked in the further investigation.
