TDP MP Nama Nageshwara Rao has said that media is being used by certain politicians as a shield. He made these statements in the wake of reactions against CBI freezing the current accounts of Sakshi media group. He has demanded to seize all the properties of Jaganmohan Reddy that are being procured with illegal money.

Nama has also said that there was no link between the freezing of account and freedom of speech. Nama said certain politicians are trying to cover up the illegalities with the help of the media.
