With the media and people raising serious objections against the Tirumala temple chief priest Ramanadeekshitulu meeting the son of the top industrialist personally at a guest house in Tirumala last week, Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD) has taken the matter seriously.
TTD is likely to issue a memo on Ramanadeekshitulu yet another time. It may be recalled that the chief priest met the son of Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani. When media captured this incident, he quickly moved from that place in a car. It was reported that Ramanadeekshitulu even accepted gifts such as 12 pairs of love birds and ash parrots. Also, 17-year-old Anant Ambani expressed his wish to donate white elephant to TTD.
On the other hand, Ramanadeekshitulu stirring up the controversy is nothing new to TTD, which earlier gave a memo on him in 2010 when he met Mukesh Ambani and blessed them ritually, which is supposedly against the temple’s norms.
How would Ramanadeekshitulu will respond if a memo is given to him? This is the question that has become a talk of the town.
