The new city commissioner Anurag Sharma has met the Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan and elucidated the security arrangements that have been beefed up in and around Dilkusha Guest House in the wake of Jagan’s interrogation by the Central Bureau of Investigation on May 25.

The police sources have also said that the duo discussed the security arrangements that are made in Banjara Hills area too. Earlier, the police commissioner said all arrangements were in place in case untoward incidents take place after the arrest of YSR Congress party president Jaganmohan Reddy on May 25.

Meanwhile, Jaganmohan Reddy applied for an anticipatory bail with the CBI Court in Nampally. The  counsels of Jagan have mentioned in the petition that the arrest would obstruct the election campaign for by-polls.  (Phani)
