The security cordon across the road leading to the CBI offices beside the Raj Bhavan was so intense that normal traffic was heavily disrupted. While this was okay, the man who was to question, the YSR Congress Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy had to identify himself to gain entry into his office, on Friday at Hyderabad.
True the CBI Joint Director VV Lakshminarayana, who is in lime light after unearthing series of scams, found himself in a difficult situation while travelling from his home. The CBI vehicle was stopped twice by security personnel and if that was not the worst, he had to identify himself at one of the halts. Luckily a passing journalist came to his rescue, while the CBI chief was busy talking on his mobile.
This security was in place around the CBI office on Friday morning as Mr Jagan was expected at the office for answering their questions in the allegations. A large number of police and Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel have been deployed. The Raj Bhavan route, which leads to the guest house, was barricaded. One of the rarest of the incidents that will be remembered by the Chief for some time, ofcourse not a sweet one!! (With Inputs from Internet- Aarkay)
