Kadapa MP and YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy is going to be inquired at Central Bureau of Investigation office in Hyderabad on Monday. It is known that Jagan is now in Chanchalguda Jail as the CBI Special Court earlier remanded him to judicial custody till June 11 in connection with illegal assets case. With AP High Court permitting CBI to take Jagan in to their custody on Saturday, CBI interrogated Jaganmohan Reddy at Officer’s Mess in Chanchalguda Jail itself. He was questioned in the presence of his two counsels. Today, he would be taken to CBI officer for further questioning.

The main difference between questioning Jagan before taking him into custody and now is that Jagan has to give reply to the questions of CBI sleuths at any cost unlike previous questioning. In case Jagan doesn’t answer to the questions, the CBI can go ahead and apply for the extension of custody.   (Phani)
