The Andhra Pradesh chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, who has expressed his solidarity for the families who have lost their kin and kith in the Vizag Steel Plant explosion, is going to visit Vishakapatnam to take stock of the situation.  Kiran would meet the injured in the fire accident and talk to them.

Kiran Kumar Reddy will reach the airport in Vishakapatnam at 2 PM and from there he would directly go to the mishap spot. It may be noted that the fire mishap occurred at SMS-2 department in Vishakapatnam Steel Plant at 8. 30 PM. At least 10 persons were said to be killed while sources said that the casualties touched 15. More than 20 persons were critically injured. Among the dead, most of them were high rank officers.

Notably, Kiran Kumar Reddy attended the wedding of Congress MP Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja on Thursday morning.
