A low rainfall has been recorded in State for the past two days, said state diaster management department. It is known that with onset of south west monsoon, heavy rainfall was predicted in several parts of the state including Hyderabad. Although the first day heavy rains brought respite, there was no major downpour in the state for the past two days. Nonetheless, low to average rainfall was recorded in some parts of the state. The climate in Hyderabad was pleasant on Thursday too.
The officials at the diaster management department have also said that the rainfall recorded was 26 per cent below the average rainfall. While the officials predicted 80 MM rain, only 59 MM rainfall was witnessed. The places, which received low rainfall, are Hyderabad, East Godavari, Kadapa, Adilabad and Karimnagar.
