AICC supremo Sonia Gandhi apparently gave strong instructions to Kiran Kumar Reddy during her 30-minute meeting with AP CM in Delhi on Friday afternoon. The sources said Sonia not only took report from Kiran but also a lengthy class for the defeat of Congress party in bypolls. PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana was with Kiran Kumar Reddy when Sonia Gandhi reportedly gave clear cut instructions to ensure that government doesn't get destabilized before 2014.

Sonia Gandhi has also presumably told Kiran to take steps towards putting a check to migrations from Congress party to YSR Congress. The main focus of the meeting was the future course of action, said sources.  Sonia was also said to have asked Kiran to coordinate with everyone and make sure that Congress tastes victory yet another time in general elections.

It is known that Congress senior leader Shankar Rao wrote letter to Sonia Gandhi holding Kiran Kumar Reddy and Botsa Satyanarayana for the defeat of Congress in bypolls. He penned down to Sonia stating that it (bypoll) was defeat of Kiran sarkar and not the defeat of Congress.
