Ever since his arrest in the Disproportionate assets Case, the YSR Congress party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had bitter encounters with the CBI. But today was however different, when the Special CBI Court in Nampally dismissed the CBI petition to conduct Narco analysis and Truth serum test on Mr Jagan and his auditor Vijayasai Reddy. The court quashed the petition stating that the test is hazardous to the health of the person tested and could be done only on persons who agree to undergo the test.
Since his arrest just before the byelections, Mr Reddy should have rejoiced over his second victory against two of his strong opponents. One was against the Congress and TDP in the byelections and this one was against the CBI. The premier investigating agency was bent on getting the green signal for the test, claiming that Mr Reddy was not cooperating in the investigations. Critics feel that the lady-luck seems to be favouring the YSRCP supremo since the byelections. (With inputs from internet- AW AarKay)
