A man carrying bullets in his bag about to aboard the Chennai-Hyderabad flight was detained in the airport for carrying three bullets. The incident was reported last evening when Monish (24) was about his home bound flight when the security scan found bullets in his bag. On questioning, as per sources he claimed that the bag belonged to his relatives and  he was taking it as he could make use of the bag on his trip to Bangkok, scheduled shortly. Infact the relative was the owner of a licensed gun and bullets.

When his large bag was put through the scanner, CISF guards were taken aback to see the outline of three unfired .22 caliber shells inside. He was immediately detained. Even after prolonged grilling the cops were not in a position to let him go and he was there till late last night. This was probably that the cops were indecisive about his claims, say sources.
