Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has said that the local body polls would be conducted in another three months. The CM spoke on several issues during his tour in Khammam district today. He has even said that the portfolios to the leaders would be given based upon on the interests of the leaders. He even mentioned that the state government was reviewing the proposal of setting up tribal universities in the state.
Elucidating the future projects of the state government, Kiran Kumar said central drug stores would be set up in several districts of the state initially, which included Adilabad, Chitoor and Srikakulam. He even said that these stores would be set up as a part of pilot project. Speaking on the responsibility of the media, CM said in case the media pinpoints at the inefficiency of the government, the same would be checked and rectified. Necessary steps would be taken for the supply of sufficient electricity in tribal areas, added CM.
Kiran Kumar, however, didn't speak anything on the issue of Danam Nagender, which trigerred a new controversy in the state.
