Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has met the Congress senior leader Vayalar Ravi this morning in Delhi. The sources said that CM spoke to Vayalar Ravi on several matters pertaining to the state especially on the electricity crisis. It is known that CM left for Delhi yesterday wherein he met finance minister Chidambaram. Notably, several issues in the state and the cheating case against CM slapped by a TDP leader has apparently put CM in a fix. High command reportedly took this matter seriously, which is why, source said, it was seeking explanations from Kiran Kumar.
On the other hand, speculations are high that there would be a change in the leadership and Congress was apparently thinking to replace Kiran with Chiranjeevi in order to pacify public and win the confidence to retain power in 2014. But, several leaders including Chiranjeevi ruled out any change in the leadership before 2014. However, political observers opined that some major development would take place in the state. Notably, CM will meet prime minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi in sometime.
