TDP leader Shobha Rani has said that YSRC leaders were expecting Jaganmohan Reddy to be in jail itself since they can ask for sympathy votes. She said YSRC, which was in such a low stage had no right to pin point at the Telugu Desam Party. To make a point she has said that padayatras would be taken out for the public welfare and YSRC became the first one for having said that it would take out padayatra since TDP was not willing to table no confidence motion. Also, she lashed out heavily at Sakshi media and alleged that the aim of Sakshi TV and newspaper was just to disseminate stories against Telugu Desam Party.
