The accused in cash-for-bail scam, Gali Janardhan Reddy was today produced before the ACB (anti corruption bureau) court in Hyderabad. The court has deferred the hearing of this case to November 2. The court, therefore, remanded Gali Janardhan Reddy till next month second. It has to be mentioned here that Gali Janardhan Reddy through some mediators allegedly lured some judges to grant him bail since he was facing judicial remand in connection with irregularities in Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC), which has allegedly tampered the border line between Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
Gali Janardhan Reddy's bail was subsequently rejected after the allegations on cash-for-bail. He was then taken in to custody. Later, he again applied to the court pleading that he be granted bail. His bail was however turned down by ACB Court on October 12. He was lodged at Bangalore central prison.
