One Venkat Reddy, a resident of United States of America, was found dead in suspicious circumstances today at the supermarket run by him in Ohio. The US police registered the case and started investigating on receiving the complaint from his widow, Kavitha. The deceased's sister has, meanwhile, urged Andhra Pradesh Government to look into the issue since Venkat Reddy hailed from Karimnagar.

On the other hand, there have been reports that Venkat Reddy was brutally shot dead in point blank range by the burglars when the former resisted to give away the money from the cash box of his departmental stores. However, there has been no confirmation on this. Indian citizens getting killed in America are hitting headlines for quite some time now and officials in our country should ensure that our fellow citizens get due protection overseas.
