Akbaruddin should be banned from elections: BJP

BJP state president Kishan Reddy has said that MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi should be banned from taking part in elections. He has  even submitted a memorandum of request to the Election Commission of India over the same earlier. Mr Kishan Reddy has said that Owaisi has made such speech and derogatory words that were probably not even used by terrorists. Recalling the defending statements of Akbaruddin brother, Asaduddin Owaisi, Kishan Reddy questioned as to why the former took on Lord Rama if MIM was not against Hindus.

Kishan Reddy further questioned as to why political leaders such as Chandrababu Naidu, K Chandrashekara Rao and others were not condemning the statements of Akbaruddin Owaisi. It may be noted that Akbaruddin Owaisi was at Gandhi Hospital for about two hours for undergoing tests as directed by Nirmal police to take him into custody in connection with the hate speeches he gave.
