JAC on non stop 36 hours protest from Sunday

The Telangana Political Joint Action Committee a conglomeration of activists supporting the separate state formation plans to go ahead with the 36 hours Samara Deeksha, despite the police not granting the permission citing security reasons. The decision to go ahead was taken at a meeting held under the leadership of the T JAC chairperson Prof Kodandaram.

 

The leaders who met at the TRS supremo' KCR's residence have voiced an opinion to go ahead with the protest at Indira Park on Sunday(January 27) at 10 am. The protest would continue as per plans. However the Central Zone Police has sent a letter to the T JAC to withdraw from the planned protest and expressed that they would not be able to permit them owing to various sensitive reasons. Yet the committee plans to go ahead on the proposed protests.

 

The various leader who met today also discussed about their future plans after January 28. it may be noted that earlier after an all-party-meet at Delhi, Congress expressed that it would announce its decision on the Telangana state latest by January 28. As speculations were rife that the Congress was favoring a state bifurcation, agitation on the other side demanding a unified state caught up.

 

Congress is at cross roads over two sides fighting for different solutions on one problem. To supersede the Seemandhra demands and show their strengths the T leaders are planning on this massive protests, feel critics. City is already gripped with tension over the MIM issue and now this one is sure to create the living tough for the common man. (Wishesh AarKay)
