The union minister and Congress big wig, Manish Tiwari has said that the Centre was discussing Telangana issue. He came out with this statement in the wake of MP s from Telangana region meeting and discussing the future course of action. Also, Mr Tiwari has said that Centre would take into consideration the recommendations made by other committee members on the issue. Further, he appealed to the leaders of Congress to maintain calm and restrain in Telangana issue.
It has to be mentioned here that MP s from Telangana region were giving signs that they would be resigning for their posts and coming out of party in case Congress doesn't give confirmation on Telagnana state. On the other hand, another senior leader from the region, V H Hanumantha Rao has said that he met the union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and spoke to him on the issue. He said Mr Shinde responded positively. Will Congress MP s get satisfied with the answer given by Manish Tiwari and VH? A million dollar question!
