On Thursday, Lok Sabha expressed grief about the death of sitting Rastriya Janata Dal (RJD) member Uma Shankar Singh on the opening day of the budget session and postponed till Friday.
Moreover, speaker Meira Kumar read out the obituary references to Singh and former members Manharan Lal Pandey and P. Shanmugam.
In fact, members also showed grief about the deaths of 36 persons in a stampede at the Allahabad Railway station while many of the victims were returning after having a bath at the confluence of rivers Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati during the occasion of Maha Kumbh Mela.
It's really tragic at the same time shocking that so many innocent people died in the stampede.
