Probes into the Hyderabad blasts on Thursday evening have revealed potential information and one of the ramifications of the blast have confirmed a common link with the Bangalore blast in 2008. The prime accused in the 2008 blast is related to the prime suspect in the blasts from a couple of days back in Hyderabad.
Abu Ustad, considered to be the prime suspect in the Hyderabad case is known to be related to Abdul Nasser Madani, one main accused in Bangalore. Abu Ustad is the head of 'Noorisha Tarikhat' madrasa in Hyderabad where he is responsible for recruiting young criminals into his unit for jihad.
Bangalore blast accused were also trained and belonged to the Noorisha Tarikhat madrasa. They are now in the Parappana Agrahara central prison. Sainuddin and his son Shafaruddin, arrested for their involvement with the Bangalore blasts are also Ustad's in-laws.
Ustad and Madani's close friendship has been evident in the investigations prima facie.
Prima facie investigations revealed that Ustad and Madani are close friends and Ustad had often arranged Madani's speech in his madrasa.
Sources from the intelligence added, "Abu's family knew about the Bangalore blasts and its perpetrators. So we shall question them on the Hyderabad twin blasts". Bangalore Police reached Hyderabad to assist the police with their extensive knowledge on the modus operandi of the Bhaktals. They speculated that there could have been newer technology used with the Hyderabad blasts.
