With elections fast approaching, many speculations are doing rounds about the future of the political parties with special reference to its course of action. Undoubtedly, TDP stands first in discussion reason being so simple that it's the prime opposition party. In fact, this party played a crucial role in 2009 elections by allying with almost all opposition parties in the state, except BJP, and forming into grand alliance (maha kootami). Even after that, the party couldn't manage to come to power. This time too observers are analyzing whether Babu would come out with such alliances.
Ruling out all these speculations, TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has said that he would not ally with any political party. Further he has said that allying with other parties in 2009 has brought heavy loss to TDP. It looks like Babu wants to go single in the forth coming elections. With YSRC giving tough competition in Seemandhra regions and TRS in Telangana region, it would be apparently a tough nut to crack for TDP for winning 2014 elections, if we have to go by what observers say. Anyway, let us keep our fingers crossed for some more time to know the end result.
