Severa sources have pointed out to the fact that Home Minister Sabitha Indira Reddy's son is a major name in the land settlement cases in and around Hyderabad.
This is not the only case Karthik Reddy's criminal side has been mentioned. He is also the prime name in being the aide of Bhanu, the murdered indicted in the Maddelacheruvu Suri homicide case.
Victims of land deals in Alkapuri, LB Nagar, Malleshwaram, Shamshabad and other places in the city have cited his name to be involved during the settlement cases. The victims rued that there was no action initiated by the police after they have mentioned his involvement in unfair settlings.
His name as a part of Land Mafia in the city has been rampantly active over the past few years. He was also the prime conspirator behind the arrest of former minister Sankar Rao. Sankar Rao earlier alleged that Karthik Reddy was involved in such fraudulent settlement cases and hence ordered a CBI inquiry.
If the leader's who are in power have corrupt progeny, there is a high risk that the society possesses since they are virtually handicapped with power on the opposite side. Police would also be paralyzed with their hands tied by super powers in the government.
