After the senior ministers in the Congress party, Sabitha Indrareddy and Dharmana Prasadarao were accused in the illegal assets case of Jagan Mohan Reddy, the YSR Congress president, both the ministers had a meeting with Kiran Kumar Reddy at his own residence. It is rumored that both of them could have submitted their resignation and hence the personal meeting.
If the rumors are to be believed, the CM will submit the letters to the governor anytime today forwarding their resignation. However, when contacted neither the CM nor the ministers approve of submitting a resignation.
At such at time TDP leader, Chandrababu Naidu is expected to meet President Pranab Mukherjee, to submit a letter urging the removal of all corrupt leaders immediately. This further strengthens the fact that the ministers could have resigned to save their embarassment.
Earlier when CBI pointed their fingers at the two allegedly corrupt leaders, Dharmana had already submitted his resignation to the CM who put it on hold. Sabitha Indrareddy who also hinted at a resignation was obstructed by the CM.
Early today in the morning ministers Anam, Raghuveera Reddy and Vatti Vasanth Kumar reached Sabitha Indrareddy possibly for a discussion about the resignation.
It is not confirmed officially and the ministers are not reachable on phone but all the circumstances point the arrow towards relief from the posts.
