Senior congress party leader K.Keshavarao announced his decision to join Telangana Rashtra Samithi on June 2 in the TRS public meeting at Nizam College grounds in case no response reaches him till evening to the demand of Telangana Congress party MPs for the announcement on the formation of separate Telangana state by the evening today by the Congress High Command.
Telangana MPs and KK met TRS President KCR in the residence of Vivek to discuss their joining TRS for fighting for the Telangana State. KK said that he has no desire to get power. He only wants to serve and fight for Telangana. He said that T Cong leaders waited for ten years to get a nod from the Government for the formation of Telangana believing the promises from the Home Minister and Congress High Command.
As they gave time to the Congress High Command up to 30th to respond on Telangana issue, KK says that he will wait up to evening today and if nothing turns up he will join TRS on 2nd June. He clearly said that he is not going to contest in the coming elections but join the fight for the cause of getting a separate Statehood to Telangana. Manda Jagannadham said that he is leaving the Congress party that follows no principles. Many of the congress Telangana leaders accepted KCR that everyone should join hands to achieve Telangana formation without looking for the power.
