Today the Assembly sessions began with the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy's speech in which he paid tributes to Ambati Brahmanaiah who passed away recently. Ambati was Avanigadda MLA. CM praised him for his being in politics observing values and fought for the farmers and the poor.
Opposition party TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu also praised Ambati Brahmanaiah in the Assembly. Chandra Babu said that Brahmanaiah was an epitome of righteousness and he fought for the farmers. He said that Brahmaniah also did a lot of service towards the development of education. Chandrababu expressed his desire that a Government project should be named after Brahmanaiah so that his name will be remembered.
Afterwards, MLAs from TDP, TRS, Loksatta and other parties praised Ambati Brahmanaiah and paid homage to him.
Ambati Brahmaniah was MLA of Telugu Desam Party who passed away on 21st April 2013.
Then the Assembly was adjourned for tomorrow.
