Dhanbad-Patna Intercity Express came under Maoists' attack at Jamui Railway Station in Bihar. It is said that the driver of the train is injured in Maoists' firing along with 5 more persons.
About 100 armed Maoists participated in this action. A CRPF Battalion rushed to the spot to take the situation under control.
It happened before the last attack on Congress leaders is still fresh in the minds. The incident occurred in Chhattisgarh on May 25th killed 28 including senior Congress leaders and security personnel and injured 36.
Unlike previous attack of Maoists, this time it must be for snatching money, ornaments from the passengers and arms from paramilitary forces.
