Police Commistioner Anurag Sharma apologized for the police action yesterday in the main office of CPI during the Chalo Assembly rally, as Narayana stated.

Narayana said that the Commissioner of Police expressed his regrets for the incident and assured that he will see that such type of incidents will not occur in future.

Yesterday, police entered the main office of CPI and arrested the leaders.  A scuffle followed in which CPI leaders were injured.  

CPI workers under the leadership of Narayana took out a rally from Magdoom Bhavan to Police Commissioner's office and squatted in front of the Commissioner’s office to shout slogans against police atrocities.  After that they handed over a complaint to the Commissioner of Police.

The Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma is said to have said sorry.
