Botsa Satyanarayana was unpleasantly surprised when a group of Samaikhyandhra supporters started shouting slogans against him in Delhi. His opposers became as good as his shadow, demanding that he resign from his post.

The PCC chief had to face the students' anger for not doing enough to secure the state. He was condemned for the attacks by his supporters on students. Later, he expressed that he did not know about the attacks at a press conference.

During the attack, he pleaded with the protestors that he explained the consequences of a state division to the Center. Earlier too, Botsa's house in Vizianagaram was attacked 2 months ago by many activists from AP NGO and SJAC, demanding his resignation.
