'Save Andhra Pradesh' Permitted

Although the police was first hesitant to permit APNGOs to conduct a meeting at Hyderabad on 7th, ultimately the event is permitted and an announcement to that effect was made by DCP V.B.Kamalasan Reddy on Tuesday night after thoroughly looking in to the proposal made by the APNGO Association.

As a peace march and Million March-2 were also proposed on the same day by the Telangana political JAC, Students JAC and Osmania University JAC, the police decided not to permit any of them on that day as it may create problems in the law and order situation in the Capital.

The permission is given under the following conditions:

The meeting should start at 2.00 pm and end by 5.00 pm.  The meeting should be attended only by the Employees and representatives of the Employees Associations who should compulsorily carry their identity cards.  Water bottles and match boxes are not allowed inside the meeting place for security reasons.

As Telangana supporters wanted to conduct rallies in spite of the denied permission for it, the Police Commission Anurag Sharma announced ban on public meetings and rallies strictly without permission from the police till 10th.

In the meanwhile Samaikya Rashtra Parirakshna Vedika called the Seemandhra people to attend and make the event of "Save Andhra Pradesh" successful.  As the public transport may be curtailed by the Government, all are requested to reach Hyderabad two days prior to the first ever public meeting held at Hyderabad.
