The Group of Ministers on Telangana is going to meet today for the third time in the evening at 5.00. The Home Ministry submitted a report of 400 pages after gathering opinions from the political parties. It also attached the letters of the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and TDP President Chandra Babu’s letters.
The report of the Home Ministry consisting of 400 pages is made in the book form to present to GoM. The meeting will take place in the Home Minister’s office headed by the Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. Defence Minister A.K.Antony, Veerappa Moily, Jairam Ramesh, V.Narayana Swamy are going to discuss on the issues in the report to come to an important conclusion.
So far reports were received from Water Resources, Electricity, Petroleum and Plannig departments. Still reports are to be received from the Finance, Coal and Judiciary. Those departments are waiting for the decision on Hyderabad to make their report depending on the decision. Because of it the issue of Hyderabad may be decided upon today.
Today chances are there for the decision on the Hyderabad City issue and the amendment of Article 371D. As Sonia Gandhi wants her promise to the Telangana people to materialize soon, GoM is also functioning at a fast pace to meet her wish.
