As part of Mega campaign to pitch Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi as people leaders, the congress party has landed in a new trouble. An advertisement of Rahul Gandhi in today's newspaper quoting “Main Nahin, Hum” (Not I, we) embarrassed the Congress party as it was used by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Prime Ministerial candidate away back in 2011.
Responding to the “copy” comments, a Congress leader said, “Our main slogan is something else. We are the last ones to copy.” Congress has been trying to project Rahul Gandhi more than Modi and AAP chief Kejriwal.
Despite not naming Rahul Gandhi as UPA's Prime Ministerial candidate, Congress believes him to the first choice for the PM post if voted to power in 2014 elections.
